START WITH THE INK

Get to know the ink,
then see how it becomes a finished piece.

Improved water-based pigment inks for confirmed coated papers and uncoated offset papers. Cyan C, magenta M, yellow Y and black K form the basic four colors; light cyan LC and light magenta LM serve the corresponding six-color configurations.

Match the specific colors, ink model and supply method to equipment channels. From brand graphics to short-run paper products, start ink selection with clear requirements.

SUPPLY · LOAD · PRINT

From ink supply and paper loading to graphic output.

Generic six-color desktop workflow: ink-to-channel matching on the left, flat-sheet loading in the center and front output on the right

01 / Match color channels

Check the ink model, existing ink and ink supply system. Do not directly mix different ink systems; follow the corresponding equipment instructions for connections and ink changes.

02 / Load paper correctly

Confirm the printing side, thickness, feed direction and paper-guide position, then load flat sheets suitable for the equipment.

03 / Produce the output

Arrange printing and drying, confirm stacking, adhesion and finishing performance, then cut, fold or bind.

Equipment selection reference: L1800 is an A3+ six-color platform and L8050 an A4 six-color platform; both originally use six-color dye inks. Match BCINKS coated-paper pigment inks only after confirming the specific model, ink supply system and paper.

SMALL RUNS, MORE POSSIBILITIES

When content changes often, printing can be more flexible too.

Short-run coated-paper applications: folded leaflets, menus and business cards, showing paper edges and folded structures

For multiple designs, small orders and repeatedly revised proofs, inkjet output lets production follow the current order. BCINKS improved water-based pigment inks connect matched coated papers, offset papers and inkjet equipment, bringing ink selection down to specific uses.

Menus and event leaflets

Update graphics for new products, festivals and store events, arranging short runs for current needs.

Business cards and brand catalogs

Put brand color blocks, photographs, small text and fine lines on one proof to assess both overall appearance and reading detail.

Flat-sheet packaging proofs

Print the packaging graphics before cutting, creasing and folding, making layout and formed appearance easier to discuss.

FROM FLAT SHEET TO MOCKUP

Turn packaging designs
into visible proofs first.

For short-run proofs used to discuss layout, graphic placement and carton appearance. Print first on flat sheets the equipment can handle, then cut, crease and fold as required by the process.

Confirm paper thickness, stiffness and feed path together with the equipment. Formed cartons are not feed media for desktop printers; proofing starts with flat sheets.

COLOR MEETS PAPER

Look beyond color
to every detail on the paper.

The coating, gloss and ink absorption of coated paper affect output. In selection, viewing brand colors, gradients, fine text and large solids together is more informative than looking at a single picture.

BCINKS starts selection discussions with actual paper samples and equipment, confirming the ink series, color channels and output conditions so product choices align with design objectives.

MATCH PAPER, INK & PRINTER

Choose the right ink by aligning these three things first.
